Ski this 3 day weekend with Cresthaven Ski Club from Long Island, NY and the Garden City Ski Club...
The original Sugarbush, Vermont ski trip (scheduled for January 22-24) had low participation so the Garden City Ski Club has offered us the following alternative. The trip will take place on Presidents Weekend. Come ski Sugarbush, Mad River Glen and Bolton Valley. Date: Feb 12-15, 2010Cresthaven Ski Trip Type: President's Weekend Lodging: Garden City Ski Lodge Space Availability: Available Club Trip Leader: to be determined, Sign in and you can then contact Gerard thru the "Contact Us" pull-down menue at the top of the web page Base Trip Cost: $400.00 includes a One day lift ticket to Bolton Valley, for Sunday 2/14/10. You must purchase additional lift tickets for the other days, your choice of mountains. Make checks payable to Cresthaven Ski Club ($400). Contact Gerard with questions. NOTE, ADDITIONAL COST: buy your own lift tickets at the Garden City lodge for your choice either Sugarbush or Mad River Glen $53 per ticket each, additional. This Weekend Trip Includes: Round trip transportation via deluxe motor coach; dinner on the way up and box dinner on the way home; beverage; snacks; 3 nights accommodations; breakfast every morning; dinner Saturday and Sunday nights; après ski party Saturday and Sunday nights. One day lift ticket to Bolton Valley, for Sunday 2/14/10, is including in the base trip cost. Option of skiing either Sugarbush or Mad River Glen on Saturday and Monday, your choice. Ski and Snowboard Safety Tip
One of the best skiing safety tips is really a matter of personal choice - to wear, or not to wear, a helmet while skiing and snowboarding. Cresthaven Ski Club and both the NSP (National Ski Patrol) and the PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) (eastern division) encourage and promote wearing a helmet while skiing or snowboarding.
So stay safe; wear a helmet while skiing or boarding.
