Taos, New Mexico... Finish The Season Off In Grand Style. TAOS Is The Place To Be At The End Of March. Have The Luxury Of Ski In/Ski Out Accommodations At This World Renown Resort.

Taos features 110 trails with terrain for all ski levels. (110 total: 24% beginner, 25% intermediate, 51% expert). The resort also features a world renown ski school program. What better place to be than Taos, for the first time in many years, Taos Ski Valley will open two new runs this season. North American for experts and The Burrough will provide adventure for every level of skier and rider.

  Check-in at least 2 hours prior to departure.  American Airlines charges $ 15.00 for the first bag and $ 25.00 for the second checked bag up to 50 lbs.  American Airlines will permit one ski bag with one pair of skis and one boot bag with one pair of ski boots to be checked as one piece of your checked baggage allowance.  Checked bags may not exceed 50 lbs per bag otherwise baggage surcharges will apply.   

Arrival in Albuquerque – Proceed downstairs to Baggage Claim.  Skis may arrive separately in the “Over- Size” Baggage Area. Be sure all luggage is intact.  Report any problems to American Airlines’ Baggage Personnel prior to leaving the airport.   Meet the Staff from Inn at Snakedance at Carousel One.

 

Transportation - Guests must deliver luggage/skis to the Inn at Snakedance vehicles outside Baggage Claim.   Room tags will be attached to luggage and be transported separately to the Inn prior to guests’ arrival.                                                  

 Lunch stop in Sante Fe enroute to Taos: 60 Minute Stop      Approximate Time in Sante Fe:  3:00pm – 4:00pm   

 

Arrival at the Snakedance – Check-in at the front desk and provide credit card imprint for telephone charges and incidentals.  Luggage may be in ski room or already in guests’ rooms.  Approximate Arrival Time:  6:00pm

 

Welcome Reception:  Saturday, March 21st – Snakedance Conference Room after check-in

Group Dinner at Roger’s(Taos Owner)  House:  Monday, March 23rd

Meet in the lobby at 4:30 pm, watch the sunset at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and then beer, wine, Margaritas and appetizers at Roger’s.  Return to the hotel around 8:30 pm.

 Apres Ski Available:     2:00pm – 5:00pm daily

 Dinner Available:          6:00pm – 9:00pm daily 

 Hot Tub and Dry Sauna Hours:  Mon – Thurs. 7:00am – 7:00pm   Fri – Sun 7:00am – 9:00pm 

Weeklong group ski lessons are avaiable for $190.   Imcludes include AM lessons, video analysis, NASTAR and après ski talks.  Must be paid by March 1 if interested.

Spring Beer Festival

Sample a variety of beers from around the world. Located in Tenderfoot Katie's and the Martini Tree Bar. The festival starts at 4:30-7 p.m. $20 entry fee, you receive a souvenir glass, tons of food and beer.

Ernie Blake's Birthday Celebration

A fireworks display and torchlight parade to celebrate Ernie Blake's birthday. Begins at 8 p.m. and can be seen from anywhere in the base area. Festivities to follow in the Martini Tree Bar. Martinis and other drink specials.
